China Resources Corporate Governance Scholarship Signing Ceremony

On 22 August 2024, the Institute joined the signing ceremony for the "China Resources Corporate Governance Scholarship"（華潤「香港公司治理專業」專項獎學金捐贈協議簽署儀式）. This scholarship, established through a partnership between the Institute, China Resources Group, and four leading universities in Hong Kong, supports postgraduate students pursuing corporate governance and company secretarial careers. The scholarship offers financial aid, internships, and career development prospects to its recipients, empowering a new generation of governance professionals.

The Institute was represented by Mr Ernest Lee FCG HKFCG(PE), Immediate Past President; Mr Daniel Chow, FCG HKFCG(PE), Treasurer and Member of the Qualifications Committee; Mr CK Low FCG HKFCG, Council Member and Chairman of the Qualifications Committee; Mr Matthew Young FCG HKFCG(PE), Council Member and Vice-chairman of the Qualifications Committee; and Ms Ellie Pang FCG HKFCG(PE), Institute Chief Executive. Senior Government officials, Legislative Council members as well as senior academic figures from the universities were also in attendance, underscoring the profound impact of this scholarship on Hong Kong’s next generation of governance professionals.
